To the girl I never knew I wanted

Dear Sutton, It’s true. Long before I knew you, I held you in my heart. I couldn’t wait for the day I would meet you, hold you, smell that new baby scent, cuddle you, and just keep you all to myself for as long as I could. You would have my hair and your dad’s eyes, and be just the sweetest little boy on the block.  Yep. I said it. Boy. In my mind, before I was even pregnant with you, I knew and I hoped and I prayed for a boy. Hell, even after I was pregnant with you...

The day after the day that our house burned down

About Life Owen

The day after the day that our house burned down

It’s still strange to me how our minds alert us to important memories. You know, that jolt you feel when you remember something all at once? So much more than just a business.

About

So much more than just a business.

When I thought about working from home with my kiddos, I knew I would love being able to spend all those small moments with them. The ones between the big moments that are often forgotten, but where so many great memories can be made.  I had no idea that this business would be so much more than just giving me the freedom to work from home. So much of what I do is not only inspired by my kiddos, but also things we do together. Owen had a strong opinion on fashion, and loves to have a say in what...

Five Months

About Sutton

Five Months

This might be the last month of my last baby being a baby. Wow! What a mouthful. 5 months is one of my favorite ages. So many smiles and giggles and rolls upon rolls of sweet baby chub. Getting interested in moving, but still needing to be carried everywhere. Not feeding every 2 hours, but still only nursing. Just a little baby, but no longer a newborn. My heart breaks a little to think it might not be much longer before she is getting places on her own, eating big girl food, and doing so many other things I’m both...

Why kids' clothes?

About

Why kids' clothes?

As I mentioned before, the idea of a business that was all my own was a dream long before it became a goal to make & design clothes for kiddos. However, after the birth of my oldest son, it was clear that all boy clothes are blue and have trucks on them. And believe me when I say I have no issues with either the color blue (ok that may be a small lie) or trucks, but as a first time mom who was understandably obsessed with her first child, I just. NEEDED. him to have cooler clothes.  As I mentioned before, the...
